Privacy notice
How CloutOps handles workspace and customer information.
Effective August 6, 2026. This notice describes CloutOps Technologies’ handling of information for the CloutOps website, client portal, connected publishing services, Slack companion, and managed content service.
Information we collect
We collect account and workspace details, campaign briefs, brand guidance, uploaded assets, rights metadata, review decisions, publishing links, performance snapshots, billing and procurement records, and support or Slack messages submitted to the service.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure the service; ground content production; administer approvals, publishing, reporting, billing, and support; improve operations; prevent abuse; and satisfy legal obligations.
AI and service providers
Approved campaign context and rights-cleared inputs may be sent to configured AI generation or analysis providers to perform requested work. We also use infrastructure, authentication, storage, communication, analytics, and payment or billing providers. Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their function.
Slack, Buffer, and connected services
If a workspace connects Slack, Buffer, or another service, we process the account details, authorization tokens, messages, files, channel details, publishing status, and event metadata needed to operate that connection. Buffer access is limited to reading account and post information and creating or managing posts approved through CloutOps. Disconnecting Buffer removes its stored CloutOps connection and encrypted tokens; the user can also revoke CloutOps in Buffer settings. Disconnecting a service does not automatically remove campaign records already created from prior work.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with authorized workspace members, contracted providers, professional advisers, transaction counterparties, or authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Retention and security
We retain information for the service relationship, legitimate operational and legal needs, and applicable contractual periods. We use access controls, tenant scoping, encrypted credentials, audit records, and provider allowlists, but no security method is absolute.
Your choices
Workspace administrators can update most account, brand, campaign, and rights information in the service. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by contacting us.
Children and international use
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children. Information may be processed in countries where CloutOps or its providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
